i was told untruths from the beginning and the service advisors continued to bs me for 7 more days. You cannot peek into a transmission to see the defective sensor for starters. I had to tell the manager and service writer twice the truck was still under powertrain warranty which they should have known. Then was told by the service manager that he had to fight GM to get repairs paid. I took it on myself to call GM and find out the truth . I was never offered a rental and in fact was told nothing would be available. I paid over $800.00 dollars for a rental for repairs that should never have taken so long thanks to your service manager not ordering a part under warranty. I have taken my truck to IG Burton for all service since I purchased it but will no longer have any confidence in your service manager.

My experience with the body shop and the Manager Janet was excellent! I called on the phone explained what part on my 2014 Camaro SS needed and she gave me a price and order the part with a deposit. It came in the next day. Made an appointment to get my lower bumper replaced. Janet and the body shop technician’s did a great job on one of the hottest days of the year. Took Silverado pickup to diagnose and fix an air conditioning problem. Air conditioner was not cooling properly. Diagnosis showed that the condenser was bad and needed to be replaced. Lindsey called me and informed me of the problem and said that they would probably have to keep the vehicle till sometime the following day to complete repairs. I stated that I was in need of a vehicle early the next day due to a scheduled appointment. Lindsey stated she would try to work out a solution. She called me later that day and informed me that my repairs were expedited and my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup. PERFECT CUSTOMER COOPERATION!!!!

I have purchased a lot of cars from IG Burton but have taken my business to Hertrich’s for service because I always have issues with the service department at IG. I had my car serviced at IG this time because it was my “free” first vehicle service after purchasing my Suburban. I made my appt online, through the MyChevrolet app. It showed a number of appt times listed for the day I wanted. I was not stopped on the app to choose whether or not I was waiting or dropping vehicle off. I figured since it was just a basic oil change and tire rotation, waiting the hour would be ok and I could go about my day. Instead, the morning of my appointment I was told that it was not an option and they could not get me in until the following week for a “wait appointment.” I was told that I chose the wrong option. After the appt I got back on the app and confirmed to myself that it does not make you choose an option. I purposely chose a “wait appointment” and it was showing availability for an appointment on Thursday at 1 pm, not booking into the next week. I was able to find a ride to pick me up at the last minute but it consumed a much larger portion of my day, running back and forth to the dealership. My appt was at 9, the car was done by 12:30. I was asked what time I needed my car back, to which I replied today. I didn’t think I had an option on a time of completion given the strong kick back about waiting for the vehicle. I do not have these problems at Hertrich. I am asked when I bring it in, if I am waiting or dropping off. Service is completed in a timely manner and their staff if always helpful and accommodating. Do better IG Burton service department!

Noticed a large slice in a tire on Wednesday, the day before leaving for an extra long weekend vacation. Went to Burtons in SEAFORD to inquire about getting a new tire installed. Shannon checked on tire availability and stated that one would have to be ordered and it would not be available until Thursday or Friday. I dropped off the vehicle first thing Thursday morning and went back to Burtons Monday morning to pick up the car. The tire was replaced while I was on my vacation and was told that due to having protection on the vehicle, the entire cost was covered. Fantastic news and customer service.

Service on my vehicle began as soon as I checked in. Staff was friendly. Food and drink available, if I needed it, it the waiting room area. Access to electrical outlet allowed me to do work on my laptop. Service on my vehicle finished in a timely manner (actually completed sooner than I had expected, under two hours) (NOTE: my vehicle needed 3 software upgrades only, no other services needed).

Had a scheduled oil change, tire rotation appointment for 1-8-26 at 0800. On 1-7, a tire on the vehicle went flat due to a screw puncture. Ordered a new tire so it could be installed on the same day as the scheduled appointment. On appointment day I took vehicle in for maintenance. The oil change was done that morning but the tire would not be delivered until after noon. Went back after noon and the tire rotation and installation was done. The service crew was more than helpful in my situation and I left fully satisfied.
