How fast can an Electric Vehicle Charge?
Charging times will vary based on battery condition, output of charger vehicle settings, and the outside temperature. These are the charging time estimates for our 2024 vehicles:
• AC Level 1 charging from 10% to 100% in 55 hours (standard home 110V outlet)
• AC Level 2 charging from 10% to 100% in about 9 hours (240V outlet)
• Level 3 DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in one hour of charging time (public station)

How Far can an EV travel on one charge?
Max travel distance varies based upon the weight and arodynamic design of the vehicle, kWh of the battery pack, and driving conditions. A 2024 Chevy Silverado EV can travel about 400 miles on all-electric power.

How do I prepare my home for an Electric Vehicle?
Owners simply need to have easy access to a power outlet. Many customers should consider having a level 2 charging station (240V) professionally installed. A Level 2 Charger will recharge your Lithium-ion car batteries between 5-7 times as fast as a standard 110 power outlet.
CAN I USE MY HOME ELECTRIC OUTLET TO CHARGE MY EV?
Yes, you can use a standard household 110v outlet to charge your car. The charging speed will be relatively slow, but it can be sufficient if you don’t drive long distances or have access to another charging station. It is recommended to use a Level 2 charger which is 240V and will charge your car at a much faster rate, about 5 to 7 times faster.
